Genie® II


Genie® II (Order No. 7000)


The Genie® II is a compact, lightweight and robust device for use on site or in the laboratory. The device has two independent heating blocks, each of which can accommodate an 8-microtube strip that has been specially designed for this device.

 

The blocks can be operated independently or together to examine up to 16 samples in one run. The device requires the lowest possible amounts of energy and can be used with the built-in lithium polymer battery for a whole working day in battery mode.

Genie® III


Genie® III (Order No. 7001)


The Genie® III is the new development in the product range for simple molecular diagnostics. This device was developed for on-site testing. It is smaller and lighter than the Genie® II. The housing was manufactured according to protection class IP62 and can also be used in demanding environments. This device has a two-channel fluorescence detector for measuring internal controls and multiplex assays. It also offers a position sensor as well as a GPS and offers the option of wireless data transmission via Bluetooth and WiFi. The Genie® III also has a rechargeable lithium polymer battery that supports the device for an entire working day. The device has a heating block that can accommodate an 8-microtube strip that has been specially designed for this device.
